How to Remove Water from AirPods?

If you ever happen to drop your Apple AirPods in water, don’t panic. It’s possible to save them — but you’re going to have to act fast.

First, try drying them out naturally. In case, if they land in a sink full of water, leave them there for an hour or so. If it fall into a puddle on the ground, scoop them up with a paper towel and let them sit out in the open air for that long.

If it  still don’t work after that, then it’s time to take more drastic measures. You can use a can of compressed air to blow out any moisture that might be trapped inside the AirPods case and around the headphone jack — just be sure not to spray too much force into the case itself because that could also damage it beyond repair.

Afterward, place each AirPod into a small bowl filled with uncooked rice (not instant rice) for at least 24 hours, and then try using them again. This should work if your AirPods are still functional — give it a shot before sending them back for repair or replacement!
