Such hormones are produced by Hormone producing glands which are namely the ovaries, the pancreas and the kidneys which help synthesise Vitamin D in the body. The glands that are responsible for the hormones related to physical aspects and sexuality of the person in females are the ovaries that form the reproductive system.

ENDOMETRIOSIS AND ITS IMPACT ON THE GASTROINTESTINAL TRACT

  1. “A case study was conducted by a well-known gastro doctor in Ludhiana who clearly explains that the number of gastrointestinal bloating and abdominal pain problems have been more rampant and more vividly seen among the patients of endometriosis the basic reason being endometriosis leads to prostaglandin release that leads to inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract, as a result of which the bowel walls begins to thicken and hinder the function of assimilation in the body, which in turn opens the ways for undigested food materials, constipation, gas, acidity etc.
  2. The only way to identify endometriosis is by going for a CT scan whenever the earliest symptoms of the disease are notified as mentioned above.
